👨‍🍳 Your tasks

  • Family-run ski hut right on the slope above Zell am See
  • Home-style regional cuisine and sweet specialities
  • Both of you work in the hut's kitchen
  • Open positions: desserts and cakes, side dishes, and relief cook (salads, soups, grill)
  • Who does what is agreed based on your experience

🚡 Your working day

  • 8:00 meeting at the bottom of the lift, the whole team goes up by gondola and then by snowmobile to the hut
  • Morning preparation of the kitchen and terrace, cooking starts at 11:00
  • Busiest time is from 11:00 to 15:00
  • Then lunch together, cleaning up and at 16:30 you take the lift down – evenings are free
  • 8 hours a day (usually 9:00 – 17:00), 6 days a week

💶 Conditions

  • 2 400 € net per person per month plus tips (4 800 € together)
  • Austrian employment contract, 48 hours a week
  • Winter season until the end of March 2027, start depending on snow
  • Lift pass provided by the employer
  • Work T-shirts, sweatshirts and jackets provided – you only need your own trousers (jeans) and sturdy shoes

🏠 Accommodation and meals

  • Own room with private bathroom and toilet – free (200 € deposit when moving in)
  • Accommodation down in Zell am See, approx. 2 km from the lift
  • Bus stop right next to the house, colleagues with cars often give others a lift
  • Free meals
  • No car needed

👤 Who we are looking for

  • A couple or two friends – both for the kitchen
  • Kitchen experience and a passion for cooking
  • Basic German (A2) is enough – simple sentences are fine for communicating in the kitchen
  • Or English instead
  • No pets
  • Nationality does not matter
