🏔️ The employer

  • Family-run ski hut right on the slope above Zell am See, one of the best-known ski resorts in Austria
  • Cosy hut serving home-made regional cuisine and sweet specialities

🍰 Your tasks

  • Baking cakes and making desserts and sweet dishes for the hut’s guests – the sweet specialities are its pride
  • Helping to prepare the kitchen and terrace for the day

🚡 Your day

  • At 8:00 you meet at the bottom of the cable car; the whole team rides up in the gondola and continues by snowmobile to the hut
  • Cooking starts at 11:00, the busiest time is from 11:00 to 15:00
  • Then lunch together and cleaning up; at 16:30 you take the cable car down – your evenings are free
  • 8 hours a day (usually 9:00 – 17:00), 6 days a week

💶 Conditions

  • 2 400 € net per month plus tips
  • Austrian employment contract, 48 hours per week
  • Winter season from early December 2026 (depending on snow) to the end of March 2027
  • The employer provides your cable car ticket
  • T-shirts, sweatshirts and jackets are provided – you only need your own trousers (jeans) and sturdy shoes

🏠 Accommodation & meals

  • Private room with your own bathroom and toilet – free (200 € deposit when moving in)
  • Accommodation down in Zell am See, about 2 km from the cable car – bus stop right by the house, colleagues with cars often give others a lift
  • Meals free
  • No car needed

👤 Who we are looking for

  • Cook with experience and a passion for cooking
  • Basic German (A2) is enough – you can get by in the kitchen with simple sentences
  • English also works
  • Couples are welcome – apply together
  • No pets
  • Nationality does not matter
